This is the first case of diagnosis of H7N9 Baoji City, is also the province's third case.

The case is a male, 31 years old, who lives in Weibei District, Baoji City, on April 28, 2017 developed cough, fever, shortness of breath and other symptoms, seek advice at the local community clinic after self treatment ineffective.

On May 4 morning he was transferred to the People's Liberation Army 537 hospital chest CT examination for pneumonia and real change, noon to Baoji high-tech people hospital. After admission to the symptomatic treatment, May 5 patient’s conditions gradually exacerbated, the municipal expert group after consultation with a high degree of suspected H7N9 cases, that is, patients with pulmonary alveolar lavage fluid samples sent to the city CDC for pathogen detection. 17:21 Baoji City CDC report H7N9 virus nucleic acid PCR test results were positive, and the specimens sent to the Provincial Center for Disease Control Center to confirm the review.

Up to now, patient’s close contacts are under medical surveillance and so far showed no symptoms.
